POLİÜRETAN SERT (RİJİT) KÖPÜK
Rigid polyurethane foams are cellular construction, closed cell construction material. The most important reason for the rigid polyurethane foam to provide excellent thermal insulation is the closed cell structure formed by the blowing gas during the reaction of the material. Polyurethane products are indispensable as insulation and decoration products in buildings due to their unique properties such as thermal conductivity and permeability values, waterproofness, number of closed cells, ratio and hardness of the cells, mechanical strength, dimensional stability, lightness, resistance to solvents and acids, surface smoothness. The strength of the polyurethane material is considered to be more than 60 years in exterior conditions, provided that it is produced with suitable raw material and correctly.
The major technical advantages of rigid polyurethane foam can be listed as follows:
HEAT CONDUCTIVITY
The heat conduction of the insulating materials is measured by the lambda value (λ). This value is between the two sides of a 1 m thick material; 1 Kelvin (K) describes the heat transfer in watts (w) when a temperature difference occurs. Lambda value (λ): expressed in w / (m.K). The smaller the value, the better the thermal insulation value of the material. Products with a lambda value below 0.065 w / (m.K) are considered as thermal insulation material.
Although the λ value of the rigid polyurethane foam varies depending on the content and density of the material, it provides excellent thermal insulation, as it does not exceed 0.03 w / (m.K).
DENSITY
The density of the rigid polyurethane foam determines the strength of the material structure. Density of material; 1 cubic meter is expressed as the weight of the material. Rigid polyurethane foam products over 100 kg / m.cube, can be produced at a density of 180-200, provides significant advantages over alternatives. This density material is both light, hard and durable.
MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
Since hard polyurethane foam can be produced at high density, it is a material with high compressive strength and compressive strength.
BEHAVIOR AGAINST WATER AND MOISTURE
Polyurethane rigid foam is a water resistant product. Does not absorb moisture from the air. Closed cell structure does not absorb and impermeable water. Since the heat transfer value of the water is high, the heat transfer value is not significantly affected by the fact that it does not absorb water and moisture. However, the rate of vapor permeability of the rigid polyurethane foam allows the building to vent the interior air. Polyurethane coated buildings do not experience sweating.
DIMENSIONAL STABILITY
All materials expand depending on weather conditions. The improvements in raw material production have led to significant improvements in the dimensional stability of rigid polyurethane foams. With the right production and correct application conditions, there is no dimensional deterioration in the material in our country's climate conditions (-30 / +70 ºC).
FIRE RESISTANCE
Our rigid polyurethane foam material is B2 non-flammability and our R & D studies are continuing to increase our material to A class.
SOLVENT / ACID RESISTANCE
Polyurethane foams are completely resistant to solvents; resistant to acid vapor.
